The client

Estoril Ambiental, based in Atibaia (São Paulo), has worked in recyclable waste management since 2009. It serves companies across quite different fronts — automotive, machinery and equipment, workshops, company decommissioning, elementary sectors and social-environmental work. Its customers do not simply want the material gone: they need to prove where it went, how much it weighed and what it became. That requirement is what defines the system.

What the project called for

Waste is a physical operation with a documentary obligation. The two have to move together.

👥

One operation, many teams

Sales, collection, logistics, receiving, planning and finance all touch the same service order at different moments — each needing to see their part without tripping over the rest.

📄

The proof matters as much as the service

The customer needs a document that backs the disposal. With no record of what left, what arrived and what was processed, no certificate holds up.

♻️

The material changes along the way

What comes in as scrap goes out sorted by category. Following that transformation is what makes it possible to close the mass balance at the end.

🚚

Partners are part of the chain

Carriers and recyclers take part in the process and need what concerns them — without access to what does not.

What we built

A corporate website and a system that follows the waste from quote to certificate.

🌐

Corporate website

Company presentation, one page per service front — automotive, machinery and equipment, workshops, decommissioning, elementary sectors and social-environmental work —, contact, a partner showcase and the privacy and consent pages, with a cookie notice.

🔐

Nine areas, one service order

Administration, operations, logistics, receiving, collection, planning, finance and partners: each area signs in with its own access and sees the screens for its role, all revolving around the same record.

📝

From quote to service order

The quote becomes a service order and the order becomes a scheduled job. What sales agreed is what operations carries out — with no re-entry of data.

📸

Collection with visual proof

The crew records photos and videos at pickup. What left the customer is documented at the moment it left, not from the memory of whoever went.

🏭

Receiving at the yard

Arrival is recorded with photos, videos and files, tied to the destination yard. Inbound and outbound finally talk to each other inside the same process.

♻️

Processing and recycling by category

Destruction processes and recycling organised by category and subcategory, with sorting and final destination, including the recyclers involved.

⚖️

Mass balance and certificates

The system closes the mass balance and issues the certificates — customer, mass balance and manual ones — plus a certification area for lookups.

📊

12 PDF reports

Scheduled, awaiting collection, overdue, collection authorisation, mass balance, logistics, stalled, material stock and the weighing report: whatever the operation needs to print or send comes ready out of the system.

🤝

Partner area

Carriers and recyclers have their own access, with billing and the data that concerns them — and only that.

☁️

Files and infrastructure on AWS

Photos, videos and documents live on Amazon S3, the database runs on RDS and Cloudflare answers in front as proxy, firewall, CDN and cache. The whole infrastructure is looked after by us.

🛡️

Environment under continuous management

Beyond hosting, we watch: platform updates, fixes for disclosed vulnerabilities and periodic environment reviews are part of the contract, not of a separate project.

What it changes in practice

The effect of recording the operation while it happens.

1

The certificate is backed by evidence

The document handed to the customer comes from what was recorded at each stage — not from a spreadsheet assembled afterwards, from memory.

2

Each area works on its own screen

Collection, receiving, planning and finance run the same process without fighting over one screen or depending on hand-offs by message.

3

The photo settles the question

When a customer questions what was collected or the condition it arrived in, the answer is attached to the service order.

4

Infrastructure and maintenance under contract

Servers, database and files on Amazon AWS, with Cloudflare as proxy, firewall, CDN and cache: the people who look after the code look after the environment.

What this project delivers in the end is a document that holds up: every certificate comes from what was recorded at collection, at the yard and in processing — not from a spreadsheet assembled afterwards.
