Gaia Silva Gaede: a trilingual website the firm runs on its own

Three languages, a custom CMS and AI-assisted PT→EN/ES translation right in the panel — with the final word always the firm's.

The client

Gaia Silva Gaede Advogados is a Brazilian full-service law firm with offices in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Brasília and Belo Horizonte and a strong practice in tax, corporate and business law. A good share of the audience it wants to reach does not read Portuguese: foreign groups operating in Brazil, correspondent firms and in-house legal teams at multinationals. That is why the site is trilingual by design — and legal content has to go out in all three languages just as quickly.

What the project called for

Publishing in three languages, with legal weight, without turning every article into a translation project.

🌎

Three real languages

Not a flag in the header: every page has its Portuguese, English and Spanish version, with correct hreflang so the search engine knows which is which.

⏱️

Editorial pace

Tax alerts and articles lose value fast. If the English version ships two weeks later, it is already stale.

⚖️

Text that carries responsibility

Legal content does not tolerate loose translation. Technology can speed it up, but review and publishing belong to the firm.

🗂️

Many content types

Lawyers, practice areas, news, publications, a podcast, banners and galleries — each with its own structure and its own cycle.

What we built

A .NET website with a custom CMS, designed for the firm to run all three languages on its own.

🌐

Trilingual website

Portuguese, English and Spanish with their own content and proper hreflang signalling — including x-default, which keeps the search engine from picking the wrong language for visitors from abroad.

🤖

AI-assisted translation in the panel

When publishing an article in Portuguese, the editor generates the English and Spanish versions with AI inside the admin itself. The text arrives as a draft for review: approval and publishing are always the firm's.

🛠️

Custom CMS

News, practice areas, lawyers, banners, image library and galleries managed through the panel, with user management and access profiles.

👥

Lawyers linked to practices

Each lawyer is tied to their practice areas — visitors arriving through a practice find its team, and each profile lists where that lawyer works.

📄

Publications

The firm articles and materials published with a direct hand-off to the file or original source, with no intermediate page competing in the search index.

🎧

Integrated podcast

Episodes reach the site automatically through the audio platform feed — publishing on Spotify already puts the episode live.

✉️

Newsletter with confirmation

Sign-up with email confirmation (double opt-in): the list only grows with people who actually confirmed their interest.

🔏

Data protection and official channels

A data-protection page with a data-subject request channel and a record of deletions, privacy policy, terms and conditions, and the contact channel.

🎓

Careers and Pro Bono

Work with us and the Novos Talentos Paraná programme with pages of their own, plus the Pro Bono practice featured in About Us — the institutional fronts the firm wants visible.

☁️

Files on AWS

Images and documents served from Amazon S3, with the site on AWS infrastructure and Cloudflare in front as proxy, firewall, CDN and cache.

🛡️

Security watched closely

A law firm cannot afford surprises on its website. Updates and vulnerability fixes are applied continuously, with the environment reviewed as part of maintenance.

Fronts we support

What it changes in practice

The effect of putting a custom CMS, three languages and AI in the same flow.

1

The English version ships with the original

Translation stopped being an external step with a schedule of its own. A tax alert can go out in all three languages on the same day.

2

The firm publishes on its own

News, lawyer profiles, practice areas, banners and podcast episodes go in through the panel. Publishing depends on neither a deploy nor a ticket.

3

Each language has its own address

With hreflang and distinct URLs, the search engine serves the right version to each audience instead of blending all three.

4

Infrastructure and maintenance under contract

Servers on Amazon AWS, files on S3, Cloudflare as proxy, firewall, CDN and cache, and monthly maintenance: the people who look after the code look after the environment.

What this project delivers is reach: the same legal content goes out in Portuguese, English and Spanish, published by the firm itself, with no external translation step to wait for.
